Autonomous Forklift
An Autonomous Forklift is a robotic industrial vehicle designed to lift, transport, and place materials without requiring a human driver. It uses sensors, cameras, navigation systems, and onboard computers to detect its surroundings and move safely through warehouses, factories, and distribution centers.
The forklift can automatically identify pallets, approach them, position its forks, lift the load, and transport it to a specified location. Technologies such as LiDAR, ultrasonic sensors, cameras, GPS, and obstacle-detection systems can help the robot understand its environment and avoid collisions.
Autonomous forklifts can improve material-handling efficiency by operating continuously and following programmed routes or dynamic navigation instructions. They are particularly useful for repetitive transportation tasks, warehouse automation, inventory movement, and smart manufacturing environments where accurate and consistent handling of goods is important.
