🤖 Line Follower Robot
Interactive simulation of an autonomous robot using three IR sensors
⚙ Robot Controls
Motor Output
The robot uses infrared sensors to detect the dark track. The controller changes the speed of the left and right motors according to which sensor detects the line.
Center sensor: Robot moves straight.
Left sensor: Robot turns left.
Right sensor: Robot turns right.
Line Follower Robot Principle
A line follower robot is an autonomous mobile robot designed to follow a predefined path, normally represented by a dark line on a lighter surface. Infrared sensors positioned underneath the robot continuously detect the line.
A microcontroller processes the sensor signals and controls two motors independently. When the line moves toward the left sensor, the robot slows the left motor and increases the right motor speed. When the line moves toward the right sensor, the opposite correction is applied.
