Arduino Uno controls the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor and servo motor to automatically open the dustbin lid when a hand approaches.

Important: The servo’s current requirement can be higher than the Arduino board should supply directly. For larger servos, use an appropriate external 5V supply and connect its ground to the Arduino GND. Check the voltage and current requirements of the particular servo before powering the circuit.
